Menu Screen
The Main Menu is what you are presented with when you
first open No Frills Multiplication Drills. From it you
can choose to study, test on a particular multiplication table,
or take the Master Test.

Multiple
Choice Screen
If the child chooses the study menu option they first take a
multiple choice quiz presented in consecutive order and then in
random order. The multiple choice quizzes force them to
answer each problem correctly and give them visual feedback when
they miss a problem.
Fill-in-the-blank
Screen
They then are presented with fill in the blank problems in
consecutive order and then in random order. The child is
forced to answer each of these correctly as well. If they
miss a problem three times they are given the correct answer and
the program moves on to the next problem.

If the child chooses to test on a specific table they are
presented with a series of fill-in-the-blank problems from that
table presented in random order. They must answer all
problems correctly in less than 1 minute in order to get the
certificate of achievement for that multiplication table.

Master Test

Test Screen
The master test tests them on all combinations of
multiplication problems from 0 x 0 through 12 x 12. Once
again it is a fill-in-the-blank test in which the student
answers each question once and receives no feedback until he/she
has completed all of the problems.

Test Summary Screen
The master test summary is basically a report of which
questions the student got right and wrong and how long it took
the student to complete the master test. This report can
help you identify what tables the student needs to study more.
